Mildred Juanita Bryson was born in Cherokee North Carolina to Jack and Roxie Evans. She moved to Atlanta in 1960 and married James S. Bryson (preceded in death) she had three children a son Steve L. Bryson and two daughters Linda G. Bryson and Janet "Shelia" Bryson (preceded in death). She had four grandchildren Tammy Correll, Tanya Smith, David Bryson (preceded in death), and Chris Geis. She had seven great grandchildren Maison Fish, Kayla Legg, Bryce King, Cameron Smith, Lunden Bryson, Gavin Webster, and Carly Smith. She had two great great grandchildren Ace and Ziggy King.
She attended Mount Paran Church of God until 2002. She then attended Skyland Church. She was involved heavily with her churches and sang in the choir. Mildred worked for thirty-seven years dedicating her time with helping the sick, the needy, and the poor through donations and volunteering her service, and prayers. She gave faithfully to helping Israel, Day Star, Mercy Ship, and many charities over the years. She fed and helped the homeless and people in recovery. Mildred worked and retired from Winn Dixie; she started as a cashier, then moved to bookkeeper, and then a manager. Mildred traveled and spent her off time volunteering in her church and community. Mildred was dedicated to her children and was devoted to caring for Shelia Bryson. Mildred loved her church family and her family and friends. The message Mildred Bryson wants to leave us is Do Not Judge, Be Charitable, and to Know and Love Jesus as she did her Entire Life.
Services are being held at Skyland Church 1850 Skyland Terrace NE, Atlanta, GA 30319 on November 16, 2024, at 2pm.
Family and Friends Service by invite only being held at Hamilton Mill Chapel 3481 Hamilton Mill Rd, Buford, GA 30519 on November 30, 2024, at 11:30am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Atlanta Mission Union in honor of Mildred. Atlantamission.org
