Mildred R. Carithers, 80, of Baytown was born May 4, 1931 in Waxahachie, TX and passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 in a Houston hospital. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George T. Carithers; parents, Algen and Elizabeth Anderson; daughter, Joella Jean Everett; and great grandson, Dustin Hansen. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen W. and Flo Heiman of Baytown and Doyle E. and Patsy Heiman of Texas City; daughters, Jacqueline Sue Pena of Baytown and Angela Kaye Todd of Houston; son-in-law, Randy Everett of Rexburg, ID; sisters, Lavada Jordan of Brazoria, Mamie Miller of LaRue, and Virginia O'Neill of San Antonio; and 22 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Dr. Danny Bezet officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be David Heiman, Dustin Todd, Brandon Todd, Scott Beltram, Jimmy Beltram, and Jason Moyer.
