Mildred Louise Huckeby, 73, of Bald Knob passed away from this life on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. She was born in Winona, Mississippi on March 24, 1951, to Ed and Willie Mae (Bailey) Donahoo.
Louise enjoyed fishing and gardening in her spare time. Her grandbabies were her life, they all knew her as "Granny Wheeze". She worked as a receptionist for 15 years at Kelly's Restaurant. Yellow roses, hummingbirds, and color purple were her favorites.
Louise and her late husband, Johnny Huckeby had a love that was unparalleled. Others who preceded her in death were her parents; siblings, Mary Mangrum, Roy Donahoo, Sally Collins, William Donahoo, Judy Johnson and Shirley Simpson.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Wayne Huckeby (Brenda), Randy Huckeby (Trina),Ginger Fisher (Larry Scott); grandchildren, Megan White (Sean), Sarah Huckeby, Tyler Fisher (Desaire), Brandon Huckeby (Katlynn), Haley Pinkston (Brandon); great-grandchildren, McKinley and Everett White, Tate and Kennedy Rutledge, Dawson and Holden Pinkston, Dominic, Julian and Caden Beal, Ada and Waylon Mooney, Charei Fisher; sisters, Jackie Steed, Sherrie Mae.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel at Bradford. The Funeral Service will immediately follow, beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Bro. James Vanoven officiating. The interment will be held at Heard Cemetery, Bradford, Arkansas.
