Mildred Charlene Hyde

Mildred Charlene Hyde, age 87, of Osborne Kansas, passed away on September 10, 2024. She was born July 4, 1937 in Alton, KS, the daughter of Rex and Mary Dugan. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill Dugan of Artesia, NM. After Charlene graduated from Alton High School in 1955, she went on to earn her Associate's degree from Brown Mackie College of Business. On June 2, 1957 she was married to Robert Hyde in Osborne, KS.
After retiring from bookkeeping in 1999 she and Bob returned to Osborne, KS to live near family. Charlene always had a knack for making everyone feel loved, often through her amazing meals and special desserts. She is survived by her husband, Bob, and 4 children: Mike (Pam) Hyde of Littleton, CO; Deb (Bert) Serna of Osborne, KS; Linda (Bo) French of Osborne, KS; Jeff (Chris) Hyde of Denver, CO; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
