Mildred B. (Butko) Kehs, 95, of Perkiomenville, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at LifeQuest Nursing Center. She was the loving wife of the late James H. Kehs, Jr. with whom she shared 43 years of marriage before his passing in 1994.
Born in Finland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Godiva) Butko.
Mildred was a tire builder for Firestone & Rubber Co. and retired in 1991 from Occidental Chemical Corp. as a fork lift driver. She was a member of East Greenville Ladies Auxiliary and a former member of Curves and Workout Plus in Quakertown.
She enjoyed mowing the farm, wild animals and traveling with her daughter; she was lucky enough to visit every lighthouse on the East Coast. Most importantly, she loved her family and cherished every moment she spent with them.
She is survived by a son, James H. Kehs III and wife, Mary; three daughters, Mildred "Judy" K. Kehs, Debbie, wife of Gordon Fink, and Linda, wife of Joseph Adam; sister, Anna Heavner; brother, Henry Butko; son in law, John Baldassari; nine grandchildren, James IV, Michael, David, Steven, Jennifer, Joseph, Jr., Jolyn, Andrew and Ashley; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by a daughter, Norma Baldassari; and siblings, Sarah McGuire and Albert, Joseph and John Butko.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville. You may leave online condolences and share memories by visiting www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com
