Services for Mildred “Millie” Ishmael, 83, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 22, 2024, at First Baptist Church in Grandview with Pastor Corey Cornutt officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation for family and friends from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, June 21, 2024, at the funeral home.
Mildred passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in Grandview. She was born January 17, 1941, in Little Rock, Arkansas to John Frances and Pearl Marie (Alexander) Hart. She married Ronald Fay Ishmael on July 2, 1960, in Little Rock. She was of the Christian faith. Mildred was a devoted wife and mother.
She worked as a reflexologist and a massage therapist in her therapy clinic in Cleburne for over 30 years. Mildred loved helping and taking care of others. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Mildred is survived by her daughter, Angela Ishmael; son, Clint Ishmael; and brother, Lloyd Hart; grandchildren, Ronald Ishmael and wife Nikki, Jared Ishmael and wife Rachel, Erin McAdams and husband Ben, Ben Lunn and wife Sara, Elysha Goldstein and husband Andy; great grandchildren, Laykin Ishmael, Cohen Ishmael, Leia Ishmael, Josiah Ishmael, Amelia Ishmael, Levi McAdams, Emma McAdams, Harvest Lunn, Juniper Lunn, Madelyn Goldstein, and Tanner Goldstein; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mildred was preceded in death her parents, John and Pearl Hart; husband, Ronald F. Ishmael, brother, John Hart, sisters, Marie Roberson, Gladys Wallace, and Helen Dixson.
In lieu of flowers please make memorials to First Baptist Church of Grandview.
