Mildred Paige Roberson, 84, of the Cove community, died Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Warm Springs Nursing Home.

Ms. Roberson was born on November 1, 1940 in Harrisonburg, VA, the daughter of Allen Marvin Martin and Dorothy Susan Liskey Martin. She was raised in Rockingham county, VA and was a 1959 graduate of Turner Ashby High School in Dayton, VA. She was the widow of Rev. Clinton Lamar "Red" Roberson. Together they owned and operated Drapery Fabricators in Jacksonville, FL for 12 years before moving to the Cove. After settling in Meriwether county, she worked for Dr. Emmett Collins for 22 years. She had been a loyal member of Cove Baptist Church since 1988, where she served in any capacity she could. Her and Brother Red were dedicated to the Cove Baptist Church and its members. In her spare time, Ms. Roberson enjoyed fishing, boating and swimming. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Clinton Lamar "Red" Roberson; step-daughters, Joy Roberson Fifield and Deborah Roberson; step-granddaughter, Brandy Brown; and brothers, Robert, Warren, Harold, and Nolan Martin.

She is survived by her step-children, Clinton Lamar "Robbie" Roberson, Jr. and Judy Griffis both of Jacksonville, FL; step-grandchildren, Michael Brown, Carrie Brown, Jason Griffis, Jillian Roberson and Haley Roberson.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at the Cove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.

Flowers will be accepted, or those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Paige Roberson.
