Mildred Rogers Obituary

Mildred L. Rogers, 88 of Rutland and formerly of Fair Haven died Thursday morning January 18, 2024 at the Rutland Health and Rehab Center.
She was born on January 16, 1936 in Sunderland the daughter of John and Alice (Finn) Lake.
Mildred married Francis J. Farley on Oct 6, 1956 and he died on Oct 23, 1966 then she married Clarence "Skipper" Edwards Rogers Jr. on October 14, 1967 in Manchester and he predeceased her on January 13, 2017.
Mildred had been employed at Bentley's Restaurant, Cleaning private homes in Rutland, Rutland Regional Medical Center Housekeeping, Castleton State College in the Kitchen and then by the Fair Haven Inn until her retirement.
She enjoyed collecting owls, wicker baskets and was a fan of the New York Yankees.
Survivors include, a daughter Karen St. Lawrence of Billerica, MA, 3 sons Brian Rogers and his wife Jennifer and their son, her special grandson Trevor all of Rutland; Patrick Farley of Boston, MA and William Farley of Rutland, a sister Linda Irwin of VA and a cousin Grace Parker of VA, 7 grandchildren, numerous Great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 3pm until 5pm on Monday January 22, 2024 at the Aldous Funeral Home. Burial will be at a later date in the Hillside Cemetery.
