Mildred Sebesta, 85 of Bryan, Baby Lou, Mom, and Granny as known by her family passed away peacefully at home on September 1, 2025, leaving behind a lasting legacy of love.
Known for her radiant smile and unwavering dedication to her family, work and friends, she touched countless lives with warm acceptance and with much beauty and grace.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Winfred and Fannie Mae Norcross, her sisters, Dorothy Becker & Mary Ann Eppers, her brother 'Sonny' Norcross, her twin brother, Melvin Norcross and her great-grandchild, Jett Siegel.
Mildred's greatest pride and joy were her daughters who were the center of her world, instilling in them her values of hard work, creativity, and unconditional love. Through them, Mildred's spirit and generosity will continue to shine brightly for generations to come. She leaves behind her daughters and sons in laws - Kathy and Jimmy Court, Sandy Sebesta, Pam and Johnny Jarrott, and Sherry and Billy Pittman.
She was deeply proud of her grandchildren which she leaves behind: Mandi Court, Tony and Courtney Court, Josh Sebesta, Maggie Sebesta, Morgan & Josh Siegel, Brittany and Jeff Crane and Eydi Pittman and her great- grandchildren, Emmy Court, JJ, Silas, Jett, and Ellie Siegel. All brought her immeasurable joy, and her love for them will forever be woven into their lives.
Mildred was dedicated to her work at Court's Saddlery and Western Wear, where she spent 54 years. She took great pride in her career. The surprise party thrown for her 30th anniversary and the celebration of her 50th which brought together past and present employees, customers, and sales representatives, was a heartfelt celebration of her remarkable work ethic and the relationships she built over the years.
Mildred had a true creative spirit. She enjoyed quilting, baking, cooking, and playing games on her i-pad and phone. She was an avid gardener and thoroughly loved throwing an awesome tea party.
Mildred found much joy in doing for others, volunteering when needed and supporting her grandkids in their education. Hosting holidays and special events at her home were her favorite; these gatherings are when her talents in cooking, decorating, and baking, made every event unforgettable.
She made a huge impact on her family, and friends that will be forever missed. Our hearts are happy knowing she reunited with her loved ones.
