Mildred Shreve Obituary
NOTICE: The service times for Millie's service that will be published in the ALLIANCE REVIEW NEWSPAPER will be INCORRECT. The CORRECT times for her service will be Monday, May 5, 2025 at 1:00 with a visitation from 12:00-1:00 prior to the service. Our website and the obituary on the Alliance Review Website will also reflect the CORRECT TIMES. The physical newspaper on Friday will have the INCORRECT times.
Mildred G. Shreve, age 82, passed away on April 29, 2025.
She was born on August 12, 1942, in Garrison, PA, to Willard and Anna May (Johnson) Johnson.
Mildred graduated from Alliance High School. She worked for Sancap and later Alliance Abrasive until her retirement. After her retirement, she worked as a crossing guard for Alliance City Schools. Mildred was a member of the Eagles and Moose Chapter 421 of Alliance.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kathie (Walter) Dowdy and Angela (John) Orlando; four grandchildren, Thomas (Trisha), Felicia (Phil), Kimberly, and Mary (Andrew); and nine great-grandchildren, Clayton, Pierce, Xavier, Aiden, Kyrin, Liam, Ryker, Thomas Jr. and Nolin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Charles L. Shreve; and grandson, Charles F. Shreve; and siblings, Donnie Johnson and Gratta West.
A funeral service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Monday, May 5th at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior.
