Millicent Danielle Carr, 60, of Ranson, WV passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the Jefferson Medical Center, Ranson, WV.
Millicent was born June 15, 1963 in Charles Town, WV and she was the daughter of the late Millard Dotson and Wanda Joyce Carr.
Millicent was a Bus Driver for the Jefferson County School System.
She was a faithful member of Kingdom Life Cathedral Ministries, Charles Town, WV where she served as a Communion Steward at the church.
She was an All-American Tennis and Basketball Player.
She went to Nationals in Basketball in Tennessee.
She coached kids in 3rd through the 6th grade boys and girls midget league Basketball. Never missed any sports events, number one fan of Jefferson High School
She is survived by her son, Terrell Carr, of Ranson, WV; godson, Tre Toliver, of Charles Town, WV; goddaughter, Mariah Smith, of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren, Trinity Shipley, Chayse Shipley, both of Martinsburg, WV, Cali Carr, of Shepherdstown, WV; sisters, Denise Rideoutt (Richard), of Kearneysville, WV, Vivian Slaughter (Kelvin), of Maryland, Maria Arcuri, of Harpers Ferry, WV, Leah Dotson, of Georgia; brothers, Joseph Carr, Victor Carr and wife Wendy, both of Ranson, WV, Kevin Dotson, of Charles Town, WV, Frankie Morris and wife Wanda, of Virginia; uncles, Kenny Carr, of Charles Town, WV, Larry Carr, of Belgium and many other aunts, uncles, host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held noon Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the Kingdom Life Cathedral Ministries, 551 Willow Springs Drive, Charles Town, WV with Apostle Sterling V. Porter, III officiating.
Interment will be held at the Pleasant View Memory Gardens, Martinsburg, WV.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 19 at the church
Arrangements are by the Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Ranson, WV.
