Milton G. Troullier, age 84, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life while surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at his home.
Milt was born on April 20, 1939 in Manitowoc to the late Elmer and Anna (Yanda) Troullier. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1958. Milt enlisted in the United States Army and served in Germany until his honorable discharge. On September 8, 1962, Milt married Janice Haese at St. John's Lutheran Church in Gibson. He began his career as a cabinet builder at Lakeshore Building Supply Inc., the company he later owned and operated for over 40 years. Milt's creativity and love of working with wood gave him a great sense of pride. While a big part of his career was building homes and vacation properties on many, many lakes, the happiest days of his life was building a home for each of his children. Milt also loved making handmade gifts for so many people. He enjoyed taking trips with Janice to Gulf Shores in Alabama for 25 years, golfing with the brothers-in-law group, playing cards, and spending time at his second home in Pickerel Lake. Above all, Milt enjoyed spending time with his family and friends – especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a lifelong, devoted member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Manitowoc.
Survivors include Milt's wife of 61 years, Janice; four children, Cindy (Pat) Korte, Manitowoc; Lee (Julie) Troullier, Manitowoc; Jill (Terry) Elsen, Kenosha; and Jay (Dana) Troullier, Milwaukee; nine grandchildren, Allison (Josh) Krzych, Nicholas (Sarah) Korte, Chelsea Korte, Renee (Justin) Mahloch, Josie and Mary Troullier, Jamie and Daniel Elsen, and Gwen Troullier; six great grandchildren, Victor and Elsa Krzych, Donny and Rose Mahloch, and Luna and Eden Korte; three brothers, Cliff (Elaine) Troullier, Vern Troullier, and Allan (Linda) Troullier; five sisters, Eunice MacDonald, Gladys Josephine Novak, Dorothy (Thomas) Klein, LaVerne Schmidt, and Bonnie (Steve) Wagner; sister-in-law: Anna May Troullier; brothers-in-law, Jack (Shirley) Haese, Bob (Diane) Haese, Ted (Cindie) Haese, Gary "Bucky" (Jolene) Haese, and Carl (Lisa) Haese; also other relatives and friends.
