Milton Watts was a man whose vibrant spirit and boundless creativity left an indelible mark on the world. Born on May 9, 1947, in Camden, New Jersey, he charted a course through life that inspired everyone fortunate enough to cross his path. On September 1, 2024, Milton's journey came to a peaceful end in Palm Harbor, Florida.
Milton's life was a testament to the power of passion and the pursuit of one's true calling. He attended the esteemed Ringling College of Art and Design, where he honed the skills that would define his career and his contributions to the world of fine art. His artwork, full of life and color, reflected the very essence of his soul-creative, passionate, and spirited.
Beyond the canvas, Milton's entrepreneurial spirit led him to open a bicycle store, combining his love for business with his enthusiasm for cycling. His time in the Navy instilled in him a sense of discipline and camaraderie that he carried throughout his life. Milton's zest for life was not confined to his work; his interests painted the picture of a man forever in pursuit of joy and adventure. He was an avid motorcyclist, a builder of model airplanes and cars, and a car enthusiast with a special place in his heart for France and the French Foreign Legion.
Milton's legacy is carried on by his beloved wife, Cynthia Watts, his stepdaughter, Elaina (Josiah) Ronco, his sister Arlene, his niece Victoria Andrich, his nephew Michael, and his students with whom he shared a deep passion and connection with. Each family member reflects a facet of Milton's character, from his artistic flair to his adventurous spirit.
As we remember Milton Watts, let us be motivated by the way he lived his life-with an unstoppable drive to create, a passion for exploration, and a spirit that soared as high as the airplanes he so lovingly built. His story encourages us all to chase our dreams, to embrace our passions, and to live each day with the same spirited heart that Milton shared with the world. He was a beacon of inspiration, and his light will continue to shine in the hearts of those he touched. Let us honor his memory by living as he did, with creativity, passion, and an unquenchable spirit.
