Mina Stanley Obituary
She was born April 6, 1939, in Lowell, OH, the daughter of Cyrus and Violetta (Martin) Bowen.
Mina retired from General Motors Corp. for after 31 years. Mina will be missed by all. She loved traveling, gospel music, riding her bike and especially drinking a good cup of hot tea. When it snowed, she would always go out and build a snowman. She took great pride in taking her grandchildren to church. Mostly, she loved spending time with her family even going to the racetrack with our race team "M&M Extreme Motorsports Racing."
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa "Terri" L. (Thomas) Hayden of Warren, OH; son, Michael L. (Sherry) Stanley of Youngstown, OH; brothers, CY Bowen of Marietta, OH, Ben (Lorraine) Bowen of Live Oak, FL, and Loren Bowen of NC; grandchildren, Michael A. (Lindsay) Stanley of Liberty, OH, Mackenzie N. (Nathan) Andrasik of Hudson, OH, and Kayla R. McCarty of Mineral Ridge, OH; and great-granddaughter, Gianna Jo Stanley of Liberty, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Verona Lukens; sisters-in-law, Juanita Bowen and Linda Bowen; and brother-in-law, Robert Lukens.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
