Minnie Bell Buckner Case, 90, of Asheville, NC, went home to be with Lord on Saturday, February 7, 2026.
She was born on October 12, 1935, in Asheville, NC to the late Fred and Molly Owenby Buckner.
Minnie was a hard worker and whose smile would light up a room. She was very independent and at times her determination to just survive was admirable.
Minnie was loved and will be missed greatly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Case; son, Larry Case; nephew, Donnie Shipley; brother-in-law, Ed Kirby.
Those left to cherish Minnie’s memory are her sisters: Bettie Lou Kirby, Christine Rose Guffey (Charles), Teresa Ann Arrington (Randy); grandchildren: Danny Case, Aaron Case, and Larry Case, Jr.; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and several extended family members.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
