Miriam was born Tuesday, August 28, 1956, in Goshen, New York, and she was the daughter of the late Patricia (Warren) Patterson.
Miriam was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and friend. Her grandchildren were the twinkle of her eye. She devoted a lot of her time to social work and it meant a great deal to her. She was The Beatles biggest fan.
Miriam is survived by, Loving Husband of 37 years, Angel Rivera Candelaria; 3 Children, Santos J. Colon, Adam Colon, and Lisa Colon; 3 Grandchildren, Jaiquan Johnson, Marcelo Braley - Colon, and Jaylis Johnson; Great-Granddaughter, Selaiah Johnson.
In addition to her mother, Miriam was preceded in death by several loved ones that she cared for dearly.
Miriam chose cremation, the family followed her wishes, and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
