Misty Deann Mason-Pennington

Misty Deann Mason-Pennington was born in Jacksonville, Florida on November 2nd, 1976. In the early morning of November 24th, 2022, Misty peacefully passed in her sleep.
She was known to be a loving and caring person, anytime anyone needed her, she would be there. Misty was very passionate and fearless; she wasn't afraid to stand up for her family and friends when they needed her. If Misty could describe herself in one way, she would say she was a hustler. It didn't matter where she was, what she was going through, Misty found a way to keep pushing through it all.
Misty loved being a mom and was so proud of her three children. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family, but they are at peace knowing she will always be watching over them.
Misty is survived by her two sons Jarred Mason and Justus Pennington, daughter Jasmine Sison, Mother Pam Mason, sister Stacy Mason, and brother Michael Mason. Along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Misty is preceded in death by her father Mike Mason and her Grandparents Lamar and Brenda Stratton, and Will and Peg Mason
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at St. Johns Family Funeral Home in St. Augustine. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
