Mitchel Allen Horn, age 59, a resident of Groveport, Ohio was born on June 16, 1965 to the late Argil Horn and Elizabeth Johnson and passed away peacefully at his home on October 19, 2024. He was married to his loving and caring wife Tami for over 30 years. Mitchel attended Eastland Career Center where he studied to be a mechanic. His passion in life was working on cars and building race-cars. He was the most amazing handyman to have around for any project. Over the years his favorite hobbies were fishing and bowling. His sarcastic sense of humor, stubbornness and the inability for anyone to win an argument with him will be missed the most. Mitchel had 3 fury friends over time (Dakota, Hunter & Hazel) that will forever be his babies.
Mitchel is survived by his wife Tami Horn, daughters, Golda (Greg) Lindsey, Suzy Turley, and son, Brett Hoover; brother, Randy (Cathy) Horn ; sister, Vanessa Riley; grandsons, Brayden Maynard - Horn and Jayden Horn; many special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Mitchel is preceded in death by his parents Argil Horn, Elizabeth and John Johnson, his son TeeJay Horn and many other beloved family members.
A private memorial will be held with immediate family and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation will be handled by MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME.
