Mitchell L. Gibbons
Mitchell L. Gibbons, age 60 of West Springfield, Pa., died suddenly at his home.
He was born on August 8, 1964, the son of Carole Ann (Snell) DiFilippo and the late Micheal Eugene Gibbons.
Mitch served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the VFW Post #4965 in West Springfield. He currently was employed at Tri-Penn Plastics in Girard. In his spare time, Mitch enjoyed fishing, watching baseball, football, and he liked to cook.
Besides his dad, Micheal, Mitch is preceded in death by his step-dad, Joe DiFilippo.
Besides his Mom, Carole, he is survived by three sisters: Michelle Briggs, Tammi (Jeff) Howe, and Terri Clayton and two brothers: Wade (Wendy) Gibbons and Mike (Holly) Gibbons, Jr. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling or services for Mitch. The family wishes to remember Mitch as the fun-loving man and brother that he was.
