Ed Mitchell Nemore, Jr, 60, of Baxter, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at his residence. He was born July 31, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan, to Ed Mitchell Nemore, Sr. and Virginia Estelene Goolsby Nemore. He worked at Dana Corporation in Gordonsville and was a member of the Double Springs Church of Christ. He was married to Melody Ann Zimmerman on Feb. 14, 2012. Mr. Ed was preceded in death by his mother: Virginia Estelene Goolsby Nemore. Survivors include his wife, Melody Nemore of Baxter; Son: Corey Nemore of Baxter; Daughters: Christi Ponce of Dayton, TN and Tonya Thompson of Chattanooga, TN; Sister: Diane Allen of Baxter, TN: Grandchildren Cade and Carson Thompson; Other relatives, any many friends also survive. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 13, 2022, in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Aldon Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery. Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. 931-268-1550

Wow! I just found this out today. Ed was a good friend to me and such a kind soul. He was one of the few people that never asked for anything from me other than friendship. Rest in peace my friend.
