Mitchell Rosenbloom, 63, of the Kansas City Northland, passed peacefully on September 28, 2023, at NorthCare Hospice House, with family at his side.
Mitch was born February 11, 1960, in Brooklyn, NY, the youngest of four children of Jerry and Dolores (Gomez) Rosenbloom. His parents preceded him in death. Mitch was united in marriage to Lisabeth Ann Carboneau on August 21, 1992, in Kansas City, MO, and they are blessed with two children, Adam and Daly. Mitch worked 39 years as a courier for FedEx Express and 29 years as a dealer for Harrah’s Casino (he started the day they opened in Kansas City).
Mitch leaves his wife of 31 years, Lisa; children, Adam Rosenbloom (Audrey Nelson) and Daly Rosenbloom; three sisters, Geraldine Kehoe (Tom), Paula Solomon (Mark), and Karen Kurtz (Steve); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Mitch loved watching sports with his family, especially the KC Chiefs, NY Giants and NY Yankees. He enjoyed listening to music, watching mob movies, The God Father being one of his favorites, and eating Nathan’s hotdogs. He loved spending time with his children, wife and even though he’d deny it to your face, the dogs. The fact that the dog has a special chair next to Mitch’s recliner so he could easily get pets and attention says it all.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am, on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 NE 96th Street, Kansas City, MO 64155. Memorials are suggested to the church. The service will be live streamed on FaceBook at: Holy Family Catholic Church for those who are unable to be there in person.
