She married Gary Darling on April 15, 1978. Gary adopted Nancy's son Shawn in 1991.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Steve Wright.
She is survived by son, Shawn; brother, Terry Wright of Osawatomie, Kansas; brother-in-law, Joe Darling; sister-in-laws, Irma Walk of Independence, Mo, Linda Smith, Olathe, Kansas and Margie Darling, Oak Grove, Missouri.
