William Everette Darling III

William Everette Darling III, 57, of Belgrade, departed this life on November 10, 2025.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Kelly Darling; daughters, Christina Darling (Christopher Myers) and Kimberly Darling (Romere Burch) of Maysville; grandchildren, Destiny Owens, Corey Cooper, Riley Cooper, Ramani Burch and Romere "RJ" Burch Jr.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jeanine and James Stothers of Jacksonville; sister-in-law, Stacy Stothers and his best friend James Riggs.
William was a person of many interests, but none so dear to him as the great outdoors. He was happiest when he was amidst nature, whether he was waiting patiently in a deer stand for a big buck or sitting by a serene lake, rod in hand, waiting for that prized catch. His love for hunting and fishing was not just a pastime but a passion that he pursued with enthusiasm and joy.
William was also a cherished family man and esteemed professional in military and federal construction.. His dedication to his work was only surpassed by his unwavering commitment to his loved ones. William's life was a testament to the power of love, friendship, and dedication.
Born into a lineage of hardworking individuals, William carried on the family legacy with pride and determination. His career spanned several fruitful years in the military and federal construction sectors, where he not only contributed his expertise but also formed lasting friendships. His colleagues remember him as a pillar of strength, reliability, and unwavering support, both on and off the job site.
As we bid farewell to William Everette Darling III, we are reminded of the joy he brought into our lives. While we will miss his presence, his stories, and his laughter, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy will continue to live on through the many lives he touched. He was a true original, and his interesting and funny nature ensured that he will be remembered not just as a man who loved the outdoors, but as someone who made the world a brighter place simply by being in it.
A Celebration of William's Life will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Kahlert Funeral Chapel in Maysville.
