Molly Pauline Knutson

Molly Pauline Knutson age 42 passed away September 10, 2022. Molly was born February 21, 1980 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Marlys and Bud Knutson.
Molly grew up in Lakeville, Minnesota with her parents and her siblings Ronnie MackMurphy, Rebecca MackMurphy and big sister Marie Knutson. Her oldest sister Sheila Pettit was already living in California. She loved the outdoors and had many friends until the day she learned her mother had cancer and her life changed. Her mom died in January 1992 and a decision had to be made, so following her parents wishes she went to live with Gary and Janice Glauvitz of Lauderdale, MN and their family Jody, Jamie and Jeff. Molly then started in the Roseville School System where she met her BF Anna White. She graduated from Roseville High School in 1998 and went on to college to get a degree.
When Molly was 16, she met the man of her life - Michael Smith. They bought their first home on the north side of Minneapolis and were blessed with Maliya on May 11, 2017. Molly's smile could light up any room. She will be missed by her many relatives, friends and coworkers. Molly had a love of life, she loved the ocean, she loved the lakes, but most of all, she loved her family, friends and Maliya. Molly your maunty and your fruncle are blessed for our time we had with you. Memorials are preferred for her daughter Maliya Smith.
