January 19, 1936 - February 1, 2025
Lock Haven, Pennsylvania - Mona J. Condo, 89, of Lock Haven passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Jersey Shore Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation.
Born January 19, 1936 in Julian, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Vera (Rumbarger) Bickle.
Mona was a 1954 graduate of Bellefonte High School.
In 1961, she married Donald L. Condo, with whom she shared nearly 60 years of marriage before his passing in 2021.
After raising her daughter, she worked at Weis as a sales clerk, retiring in 1998 so that she could help care for her granddaughters.
Mona attended First Church of Christ, Lock Haven.
She enjoyed playing Bingo and shopping.
Most of all, she loved her family- especially her granddaughters whom she always supported at their various activities.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Jody and John Hiney of Lock Haven; granddaughters, Jessica Hefferan and Sarah Hiney, both of Lock Haven; brothers, George (Sheila) Bickle and James (Jean) Bickle, both of Bellefonte; sister, Barbara (Vernon) Crawford of Boalsburg; and brother-in-law, Richard Condo of Mill Hall.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Bickle and sisters: Nancy Dickson, Betty Williams, Margaret Bickle and Marjorie Watkins.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at 12 Noon at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions in Mona's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association through the funeral home.
