Monica Louise Garrison of Cicero, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the age of sixty-three. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on November 1, 1961, to Joseph and Shiela Wood. She was a retired day care worker and a devoted mother to her daughter, Jazmin Garrison.
Monica was a 1980 graduate of North Central High School. She enjoyed crafting, spending time with her little dogs, and celebrating with the family on holidays.
In addition to Jazmin, she is survived by five siblings: Christopher (Sandra) Wood, Patrick (Karen) Wood, Claudia Wood, Bernard (Lisa) Wood, and Jacqueline (Mark) Kubat.
On October 1, 2025, a memorial service for Monica was held at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she is interred.
