She is survived by her mother, Annette Waiters, son, Augustus Lee Waiters, both of Frankfort, her stepson, Matthew Smith; 4 grandchildren; and her beloved friend, Will Smith. As well as many loving cousins and loving friends.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday July 9, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM.

Wow, Moni it's hard to believe I won't hear you on the phone with Will everyday any longer. I won't hear you laughing, us doing our nightly prayers and all us talking about a movies. There was so much more to you than just the basic. I, witnessed first hand the unconditional love you and Will shared. You were a big part of his life and as he was in yours. The Smith Family is really going to missed you and love you very much.
