Ms. Monique "Angel" Sharone Moore was born March 2, 1973 to Otistean Truss and Donnie Moore in Marks, Mississippi. She passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 50 years.
Ms. Moore was a longtime resident of Saginaw, Michigan and a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and attended Arthur Hill High School graduating in the "Class of 1992". Right out of high school Monique became employed at the Saginaw Geriatrics Nursing Home for many years. She also enjoyed spending her time nursing patients back to health as a Home Health Aide.
She enjoyed hobbies of cooking, traveling, listening to music, dancing, singing (even though she didn't know how), karaoke, playing cards and watching movies. She also enjoyed supporting her children in their sports activities where she would actually "coach" from the sidelines. She loved being with her family and spending time with her close friends.
Monique leaves to cherish her memory her long time love, Albert Lee Ramsey; two children, My'Esia Moore and Ty'Ree Ramsey, both of Saginaw, MI; one step-child, Tameeka Reis, Saginaw; four grandchildren, Ryleigh Ramsey, Braylon Moore, Josiah Buckner and Ricky Reis, all of Saginaw; her parents, Otistean Truss and Donnie Moore, both of Saginaw; step-father, Jimmie Truss, Sr., Saginaw, five sisters, Monica Truss, Atlanta, GA, Barbara Simmons, Jimmica, Celestine and Lonnie Truss, all of Saginaw; three brothers, Jimmie Truss III, Spring, TX, Jimmie Truss, Jr., Saginaw and Edward Brown, Chicago, IL; a host of aunts and uncles; one sister-in-law, Erica Truss, Spring, TX; one brother-in-law, Tyrone Simmons, Saginaw; nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends including special friends Jan Holme-Shaw, Kelly Sims, Aimee Weatherspoon, the Saldana family and Gala.
Ms. Monique Sharone Moore was preceded in death by Sarah Brown, Otis Sr. and Otis Brown Jr., other loved ones, Mrs. Lorise Granderson, James T. Granderson and Albert Ramsey.
The family would like to express special thanks to Gail and Alicia Jones, Shontay Thomas, Keith Jones, Tiffany and Mykeyah, the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church family, Newer Dimensions Fellowship Ministries, Denise Campbell, Flora Freeman and First Congregational Church.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, MI 48607. Pastor Delwin Tatum will officiate. No public visitation will take place.
