Beloved mother, grandma, and great-grandma went home to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at her home, with her family at her side. Age 79 years.
The daughter of the late Earl and Marguerite (Gordier) Gaudette, Jean was born on July 30, 1946, in Onaway, Michigan. She married Thomas E. Leszinske Sr, and they shared thirty-three wonderful years together until his passing in 1999. Jean’s role as a caregiver was at the heart of her life, and she found joy in nurturing and supporting her loved ones. She enjoyed crocheting and baking. Above all, Jean cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughters and sons, Carmen Leszinske, Thomas (Dawn) Leszinske, Kimberly Shivley, Jason (Darcy) Leszinske; grandchildren, Kadie, Quade, Chase, Jaxen, Makaela, Jacob; great-grandchildren, Nova, and Wyatt; nieces, Kim, and Lori; very dear friends Beccy, and Lorri; lifelong neighbors, Pat and Rich, Tony and Lori.
Honoring Jean’s wishes, cremation has taken place. No services will take place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603.
