Morgan Brooke Heilig, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on July 14, 2024 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 13, 1993, and her untimely departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew her. Morgan will always be remembered for her kind soul and bright light that she brought into the lives of those around her.
Morgan loved reading the bible with her grandma Kat and she also loved spending time with her and Theo. She had a passion for animals, and she had a wicked sense of humor. Morgan was a free spirit and very mischievous. She loved to listen to her heavy metal music and she also loved doing hair and make-up. Additionally, Morgan enjoyed spending time with her family.
The visitation will take place on Thursday, July 18, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home and Cremation located at 2916 Union Road in Gastonia, North Carolina. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 19, at Withers & Whisenant Funeral Home with Reverend Josh Baker officiating. Entombment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
She is survived by her parents Keith and Pamela Heilig; Harley Heilig; sister, Kirstie Heilig, Asantè and Jeremiah Burris; Theodore Heilig and Victoria Moore; Donna Williams (Richard), Michelle Wallace, Jamie Norris (Elliott), and Jocelynn Norris; Rocky Wallace (Cathy). She is preceded in death by her sister, Scarlett Brea Heilig, her grandmother, Kathleen Heilig, and her grandfather W.C. Moore
