Sonny was born on October 3, 1939, in Renick, WV to the late Olen Clifford Bostic and Lena Ellen Stogdon (Morrison/Bostic). He worked as a CDL driver, in construction, and at Rite-aid as a forklift operator.
Sonny was a member of Hickory Baptist Church in Bel Air, MD. He sang with several family members and friends over the years and played guitar. He even had his own recording studio. Several will remember him as a beloved Sunday School teacher.
He is survived by: His wife, Guyda His children -Terry and his wife, Janet Christy and her husband, Rob His grandchildren - Charisa, RJ and Ashley His great grandchildren Alexandria and Mikaila His siblings - Frances and her husband, Jerry Robert and his wife, Mary Ellen (Lucille) Stephen and his wife, Teresa Numerous nieces, nephews, additional family members and friends. Sonny was preceded in death by siblings, Elizabeth and Gerald and son, Timmy.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Morris life at Evans Life Celebration Home -3 Newport Drive (Rt 23 and 24) Forest Hill on Sunday, August 24 from 2-4pm.
A brief Celebration of Life Service will start at 3:30pm.
