Morris Pohland Obituary

Morris graduated from the Greater Latrobe area High School and enlisted into the United State Navy. After his honorable discharge, he owned and operated the Pohland Brothers Lumber Company in Latrobe for many years, selling and retiring in the late 90's. After retirement, Morris moved to Carrick and enjoyed cooking, making his delicious homemade bread, gardening, and playing on his computer.
He is survived by his daughter Sonja (David White) Price of Brush Valley, grandchildren Cory and Jeremy Eicher and Brian Pohland as well as a sister-in-law Carol Pohland.
Besides his parents, Morris is preceded in death by a son Donald Pohland, brothers P, Brett, Bruce, and Richard Pohland, as well as a sister Cynthia Christian.
At Morris's request, all services will be private and have been entrusted to the care of the Bowser Minich Funeral Home, Indiana.
