It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Morris Fredrick Young Jr., a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, on August 21, 2025, at the age of 98. Morris was born on August 18, 1927 to his parents Fredrick and Naomi (nee Newhouse) Young in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Morris was known for his passion for photography, a craft that he pursued with dedication throughout his life. He channeled this love into his career, becoming a talented photographer and printer, running Young's Printing Service, from which he retired at the age of 65. His artistry behind the lens and expertise in printing left a lasting impact on those who had the opportunity to work with him.
Those left to remember Morris' memory are his children: David (Karen) Young and Michael (Tracy) Young; his grandchildren: Megan (Patrick) Carroll and Jonathon (Ashley) Young; his bonus grandchildren: Robert (Amanda) Kruse, Kent (Chelsey) Hager, and Kora (Derick) Cumpston; his great-grandchildren: Logan, Olivia and Mavis. Bonus Great Grandchildren Oliver, Corbin and Gavin.
Morris is preceded in death by his parents: Fredrick and Naomi Young; and his wife: Nancy Young.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 29, from 9:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 am at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 5261 Foley Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. Burial will be at Arlington Memorial Gardens at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in honor of Morris be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church. A funeral home representative will be available to help with donations.
Morris Frederick Young Jr. will be greatly missed but will live on in the memories and hearts of his loved ones.
