Mr. Richard Carlisle Rhodes, age 73, of Thomaston, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Harborview Health Care of Thomaston. 

He was born on May 26, 1952, in San Diego, California. Richard dedicated much of his life to a career in law enforcement, a profession that reflected his commitment to serving the community. He is survived by his wife, Kristy Rhodes, of Thomaston, and his brother, Vance Rhodes. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, C.L. Rhodes and Jeanne Maquette Rhodes.

Funeral services will be held at a later date in Tryon, North Carolina.
