Mr. Ronald Earl Carder, age 68, of Winder, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, December 1, 2025.
For many years, Ronald served as a Registered Nurse Supervisor with Limestone of Northeast Georgia Health System, where he was not only respected for his professional accomplishments but also cherished for his compassionate care and dedication to his patients. In addition to his nursing career, Ronald demonstrated his love for his country by serving in the Navy, an experience that shaped his character and instilled in him a sense of duty and honor.
An active member of St. Matthews Catholic Church, Ronald found joy and a sense of community in his faith, further enriching his life and the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Carder, and his mother, Berta Hartsock Carder.
Ronald was a loving husband to his wife, Lorraine Hunt Carder, with whom he celebrated 25 years of marriage; he is also survived by his sister Deborah Carder and brother, Donald Carder, both of Oklahoma.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at St. Matthews Catholic Church.
The family respectfully request, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Mr. Carder to the St. Matthews Catholic Church at 25 Wilkins Rd SW, Winder, GA 30680.
