Mrs. Deborah Atkins, 60, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 3, 2024. She was born in Danville, Virginia on February 28, 1964 to the late Kenneth Huggins and Faye Hamlet. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her father-in-law, Harry Atkins, mother-in-law, Donna Windberg, and sister-in-law, Margaret Atkins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at First Baptist Church Indian Trail, 732 Indian Trail Fairview Road, Indian Trail, NC 28079. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 6:00pm until 6:45pm.
Deborah will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She would cherish the times she played cards and games with her family. She was the physical embodiment of Southern Hospitality. She loved cooking and having friends and family over. Deborah and her family are members of First Baptist Church Indian Trail where they have attended faithfully for 7 years. Deborah will be greatly missed and remembered in the hearts of all those who knew and loved her.

Meade (Lisa), Joe Rivituso (Jennifer); sister-in-law, Amy Hulderman (Brent), and numerous nieces and nephews.
