Ms. Sheila Cockerham Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Homes and Crematory - Washington St. on Jul. 25, 2025.
Sheila D. Cockerham, 64, of Columbus, passed from this life at 8:21 a.m. Monday, July 21, 2025 at her home.

Sheila was born May 7, 1961, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Sheldon and Mary Lewis Noblitt.

Mrs. Cockerham worked as a forklift operator at Cosco. She liked to listen to music and was very "crafty". Sheila had a green thumb for flowers and enjoyed planting them each year. She loved spending time with her grand babies too. Sheila was the life of the party and could make any dull occasion exciting. Mushroom hunting, fishing and riding Harley motorcycles were things she enjoyed doing in her spare time. Her sense of humor and thinking of others before herself are just a few qualities of Sheila's that will certainly be missed.

Survivors include her daughters, Kelly Parker, Amanda Cockerham, Sarah (Derek) Baldwin all of Columbus; grandchildren, Tylor Cockerham, Jordan Parker, Alivia Parker, Trey Stillabower, Isaiah Stillabower, Damien Stillabower, Sophia Stillabower, Emma Cockerham; great-grandchild, Mason James Cockerham; brother, Troy (Simone) Noblitt of Freetown; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charlie Noblitt.

In keeping with the family's request, cremation will take place and no other services are planned at this time.

Condolences and special memories may be shared with Sheila's family at barkesweaverglick.com.
