Mrs. Myrna Lourdes Mistrot Tucker, 84, of Cleveland, TN and previously of Moss Point, MS, an exceptional woman, devoted to God and family, passed away, surrounded by her Three Loving Sons, Tuesday, November 19, 2024. She was born May 24, 1940 in Grenada, MS. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Henry Graham Tucker, Sr and her Mother and Father, Lucien Pierre and Verna Mouret Mistrot, and her sister-in-law, Judy Mistrot. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. Graham (Erin Patricia) Tucker, Jr. of Senoia, GA, her son, Dr. Gregory M. Tucker of King of Prussia, PA, and her son, A. Garrett Tucker (Jenny) of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, Mrs. Mallory Sylvia Rapoza (Vincent), of LaGrange, GA, Mrs. Emily Myrna Vines (Caleb) of Bremen, GA and Barrett Graham Tucker, of LaGrange, GA, Mrs. Stephanie Ann Renaud (Nathan) of Decatur, GA and Mrs. Brittany Day and Mrs. Kailyn Day of Atlanta, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. P. (Marilyn) Mistrot of Birmingham, AL and brother, Mr. Keith J. Mistrot of Saraland, AL; five beautiful great-grandchildren and many beloved cousins. Myrna was a graduate of Convent of Mercy Girls Catholic School in Mobile, AL and attended Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL. Myrna started her career at Prudential Insurance Mobile, in accounting and finance prior to her marriage. Her next fulltime job was raising her three sons. Myrna then worked for almost 25 years as the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent of Schools for the Moss Point School District. Myrna was a faithful member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Moss Point for over 45 years, where she served on the Parish Council, choir director of the Saturday Vigil Mass, member of the Finance Committee and a CCD Teacher. Myrna served the community of Moss Point as a member of the Junior Auxiliary, served as a Den Mother of her son's Cub Scout Packs, and served on the Jackson County Mardi Gras Carnival Association, where she was Past Queen of the Carnival Ball. Myrna was a Beacon of Light, in helping to guide her three sons as they pursued their dreams and ambitions. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Brookdale Senior Living in Cleveland, TN. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at Brookdale Senior Living, for their warm and heartfelt care and personal attention shown to Mom, during her last four years at Brookdale and up through this very difficult time. The family asks, in lieu of flowers, that memorials be made in Myrna's name to the Catholic Charities, USA. Arrangements by Companion Funeral Home, Cleveland, TN.
