Myron J. "Joe" Meshigaud, 68, of Wilson, passed away on Wednesday evening February 26, 2025 at Christian Park Health Care Center.
He was born on March 7, 1956 in Escanaba, son of Peter and Emma (Keshick) Meshigaud. Joe was raised and attending school in Menominee and later earned his associates degree in computers.
Joe enjoyed over the road long haul trucking and riding his Harley. Trail riding his four-wheeler through the woods with his brothers and fishing and camping with friends were among his favorite activities. Joe loved animals and was an extreme advocate for them. He enjoyed a simple life and doing his own thing.
Among survivors include his daughter, Sara Meshigaud of Wilson; granddaughter, Vandalia Rhines; grandsons, Felix and Mario Meshigaud; brother, Gus Meshigaud; sisters, Noreena and Bonnie Meshigaud; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Victoria Meshigaud, Gloria McCullough, Ruby Meshigaud, Rita Bell Polfus and Gary Meshigaud.
Visitation will be on Saturday, March 1st beginning at 6 p.m. at the Hannahville Community Center. The funeral service will follow at Sunday at 10 a.m. and the burial will take place in the Hannahville Cemetery at 11:45 a.m. (All times are eastern).
