Myron Paul Voran, 96, passed away June 12, 2025, at Newton Presbyterian Manor. He was born March 22, 1929, in Kingman, KS, to Paul J and Hulda (Graber) Voran and grew up in Pretty Prairie, KS. Myron had a rich and full life. He was a farmer and built custom houses and kitchens. He took an active part in church and community a+airs, serving in a variety of capacities. He and Mildred were blessed with four children who always remain a source of pride and joy to them. He enjoyed an active retirement in North Newton within the proximity of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Myron is survived by Mildred, his wife of 71 years, three children, Barb Voran, Brent (Cora) Voran of Newton KS and Jeanette (George) Leary of North Newton KS, four grandchildren, Rachel (Graham) Unruh, Kevin (Naomi) Leary, Paul (Sarah) Voran, and Megan Leary and four great grandchildren (Owen and Ivy Unruh, Maggie and Silas Leary). He is also survived by his sister Florine Eitzen.
Preceding him in death were his daughter Kathleen Voran, his sister Norma Preheim and his parents Paul and Hulda Voran.
Memorial service will be held on July 5 at 2:00 at Bethel College Mennonite Church. A family burial service will take place earlier that day.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel College or MCC
