Myrtle Joyce Arnold, wife of Lester Lee Arnold and daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Nanny Brandenburg Napier was born in Lee County, Kentucky on May 25, 1935 and departed this life at her home in Beattyville, Kentucky on April 20, 2025 at the age of 89 years, 10 months, and 26 days. She was a member of the Beattyville Christian Church, former employee of Lion Apparel and store clerk for Rose Bros. Clothing Store as well as a homemaker. In addition to her husband Lester Arnold of Beattyville, Kentucky, Mrs. Arnold is survived by a son, Danny Arnold and wife Linda and a daughter, Elaine Beer; three grandchildren, Zachary Beer and wife Kathryn, Douglas Beer and wife Patty, and Benjamin Arnold; three great grandchildren, Jacob, Arielle, and Vesper Beer; one brother, Troy Napier; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Nanny Brandenburg Napier; a sister, Helen Reese; two brothers, Emil and Mac Napier; and a son-in-law, Richard Beer.
