Myrtle Faye Raley Henry Howey, wife of James Howey died Saturday, September 28th, 2024 in Harrodsburg. Born March 13, 1939 in Mercer County she was the daughter of the late James Wesley and Evelyn Lucille Lane Raley. She was a retired Corning Inspector, a member of Cornishville Baptist Church and the Flint Worker Union. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches and spending time with her grandchildren.
Additional survivors including her husband are one son: James Maurice Henry; one daughter: Sandra (Mark) Merriman; one brother: Gary Lynn Raley; one son-in-law: James Rice; one daughter-in-law: Mary Lou Henry; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband; Maurice Henry; one son: Albert Lynn Henry, one daughter: Pamela Rice; one brother: Charles Wesley Raley and two sisters: Martha Slaven and Mattie Louise Goodlett.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services with Mark King officiating. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery with James Rice, Jr., Andrew Rice, David Rice, Hunter Baker, Kelly Eddington and James Raley serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 7:00 a.m. until time of the service Friday at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
