Nadine Marie Criger Hershey

Nadine Marie Criger Hershey, 79, of Mount Pleasant, SC, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Born September 30, 1946 in Vallejo, CA, daughter of the late Captain Marvin Criger and the late Marie Panathoni Criger, she attended Plymouth High School, Margrove College, Michigan State University, and graduate school at Western Illinois University. She married Michael R. Hershey on May 2, 1981 and they resided in Brighton, Michigan until they moved to Mt. Pleasant, SC in 1986, where they lived until he passed in 1995.

Nadine had several careers, first in travel industry sales, and later as a college educator. After moving to SC, she became a healthcare administrator with both health insurance and hospital organizations. She later had her own business doing accounting for small businesses and retired in 2022.

She was a member of the Mount Pleasant Business Association, Stella Maris Catholic Church of Sullivan's Island, and the Notre Dame Club of Charleston.

A memorial service will be held December 17, 2025 at Stella Maris Catholic Church, 1204 Middle St., Sullivan's Island at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends at Hidden Cove Clubhouse, 350 Hook Lane, Mt. Pleasant, that evening from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
