Nadine Delores McCane, age 82, of Milton, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born February 1, 1943 in Milton, the daughter of Lloyd and Lola Mae (Brown) Harmon.
Mrs. McCane was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, going to Clearwater Beach, Florida on vacation and other trips with her sister, collecting recipes, and dancing. She was known for her jam cakes.
Her memberships included Bedford Pentecostal Church in Bedford, Kentucky, and the Moose Lodge and American Legion Post #9, both in Madison, Indiana.
Her surviving family includes her husband, Daniel McCane, to whom she was married on May 15, 1965; three daughters: Kaye Gibson and Delores Imel-Webster and her husband, Todd, all of Madison, and Mary Moederzoon and her companion, David Spivey of Bedford; four brothers: John Harmon and his wife, Wanda, and Tony Harmon and his wife, Charlotte, all of Madison, Steve Harmon and his wife, Oliva of Okeana, Ohio, and Keith Harmon and his wife, Sharon of Bedford; two sisters: Joyce Romans of Madison, and Diane Hensley and her husband, Don of Carrollton, Kentucky; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and her dog, Cricket.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: Dell, Ernest, Gayle and Bobby Harmon; and five sisters: Opal Harmon, Virginia Hammon, Byrl Westrick, Faye Fox and Francis McFarland.
The Reverend Bobby Wade will conduct the funeral services.
