Nancy Jane Baum

Nancy Jane (Moseley) Baum of Whitewright, Texas, passed away December 29, 2023, at the age of 90. She was born on January 4, 1933, to Thomas Moseley and May Pafford Moseley in Celina, Texas. She graduated from North Texas in 1954 and married Joey Mack Baum on January 30, 1955.
Nancy was a beloved middle school teacher for 25 years in Frisco, Texas. She was also active in First Baptist Church, Frisco and First Baptist Church, Whitewright. After retiring in Frisco, she moved to the country in Whitewright where she enjoyed substitute teaching and gardening.
Nancy is survived by her children, Kathryn Ann Baum Vonada and husband Danny of Lubbock, Texas; Steven Alan Baum of Whitewright, Texas; Beverly Susan Bearden and husband Randy, of Whitewright, Texas; and Mary Elizabeth Baum McClain and husband Landon, of El Campo, Texas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren, and a host of other loving family and friends.
Nancy is proceeded in death by both her parents Thomas and May Moseley, and all of her brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 20th, at 10:00 a.m. at Genesis Church, 5780 Virginia Parkway in McKinney, Texas.
