Nancy Beekman Obituary

Nancy was born July 15, 1948, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of the late Herman Merle Ward and Dorothy Mae (Griffith) Ward. On December 22, 2006, she was united in marriage to Gary Beekman, who survives.
She is also survived by two sons, Cameron Vastine, and Rhett Vastine; three step children, Darby (Kim) Beekman, Dustin (Lisha) Beekman, and Darrick Beekman, four grandchildren, Peyton, Kendall, Garrett, and Whitley; seven step-grandchildren, Josh, Evan, Kaylee, (Travis), Morgan (Dalton), Clay, Michaela, and Leah (AJ); numerous great grandchildren; five brothers, Ralph, Randy, Ed, Roger, and John; and a sister, Auda (Larry) Herman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, David Vastine; a step-grandson, Bryce Bender; four brothers, Lewis, Chub, Dallas, and Ronald; and three sisters, Sue, Linda, and Virginia.
Nancy retired from the Atomic Plant; and was a member of Beaver Chapel Church, Peebles, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Howe Wheeler Boyer Funeral Home, Piketon, Ohio with Pastor Terry Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Scioto Burial Park, McDermott, Ohio.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the funeral home in Piketon.
