Nancy Braz

Nancy Braz, 64, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023. Born July, 10, 1959, Nancy was the daughter of the late John J. Christiano and Mary DesJardins Christiano. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Joseph Christiano and James Christiano. She is survived by her two children, Christina Braz and Jason Braz of Naugatuck, her two sisters, Rose Taliercio of Norwalk, Mary Fichandler of New Haven, and brother John Christiano of Elverta, CA. Nancy was a devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend. She brought kindness and inspiration of strength whenever she was.
Nancy was a graduate of University of Connecticut. She worked as program coordinator for the WIC program in Waterbury for over 25 years until her retirement. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, but her greatest joy in life was raising her two children.
Nancy's funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 1006 New Haven Rd, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
