Nancy Brendle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Scott Funeral Home on Jan. 30, 2026.
Nancy Carol (Davis) Brendle, age 71 of Jeffersonville, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026. Born to the late Ohlen Paskel "OP" and Virginia 'Anne'(Morehead) Davis, Nancy was a proud 1973 graduate of Jeffersonville High School. She went on to work many dedicated years at General Electric, where she was known for her strong work ethic, friendly spirit, and her willingness to say what was on her mind.

Nancy found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved playing cards and especially enjoyed winning at BINGO, always with a smile and a little sparkle of fun-loving competitiveness. She had a fiery spirit, a quick wit, and a personality that left an impression on everyone she met.

Above all else, Nancy's heart belonged to her family. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, delighting in their laughter, creating memories, and filling their lives with love, warmth, and just the right amount of sass.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Ronnie Brendle of Jeffersonville; her daughter, Ashley Anne Wilson (Paul), whom she loved deeply and was very proud of; her brother, Jim Davis (Judy); and her two beloved grandchildren, Cohen and Joslin, who were the light of her life.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2–6 PM on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana. Memorial services will follow at 6:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Nancy will be lovingly remembered for her kind heart, fiery spirit, and the deep love she shared with her family and many lifelong friends. Her legacy lives on in the family she adored and the memories that will be treasured forever.
