Nancy Ellen Moore Chewning, age 74, of Crossville, TN, passed away at Cumberland House on June 21, 2023.
Mrs. Chewning was born on August 30, 1948, in Huntington, West Virginia, daughter of the late Fred Moore and Martha (Hundley) Moore.
Nancy was a librarian and teacher. She attended Crossville First United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she loved to read, do word puzzles, and watch game shows and westerns - always with a cat on her lap.
She is survived by her husband, James Chewning; daughter, Kelly Coffey (James); son, Christopher Chewning (Brittany), grandchildren George and Ellie Chewning; and brother, John Moore.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents.
