Nancy Cicchetti Obituary

Nancy Napolitano was born on August 11, 1939, in South Amboy, N.J. and was the only child of the late Bertha & Anthony Napolitano. Weeks after graduating from high school, she started working at Merck & Co, where she remained for many years until she retired. It was at Merck that she met Rudolph "Rudy" Cicchetti, whom she married on June 25, 1972. In 1974 they bought a home and moved to Metuchen. Over their 40-year marriage, they traveled the world together. She was a passionate antiques collector, loved to needlepoint and entertain family + her many friends.
She is preceded in death by Rudy and her parents, survived by her beloved canine companion, "Angelo", and numerous family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 183 Rector St., Perth Amboy from 11:00am until the time of services at 12:00pm. Interment will follow in the churchyard. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 183 Rector St., Perth Amboy, NJ 08861, or the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org).
Arrangements are under the direction of the Flynn and Son/Mitruska Funeral Home, Fords.
